SUGAR BEACH HOSTEL

Maui Sugar Beach Hostel is Maui's one and only beach hostel. It is also the only hostel on Maui offering upscale accommodations. The hostel comprises the entire Inn with the exception of the 3 BR Penthouse. Each of the five 1BR apartments have one private bedroom with either a king bed or 2 twin beds. The livingroom has two twin beds (some have one double and one twin), totalling four guests maximum per unit. Each unit is over 500 sq ft, air conditioned with completely furnished kitchens, full bathrooms with tub/shower, and poolside lanai.

The hostel enables international travelers and Americans traveling on a budget to afford quality accommodations near the beach without sacrificing privacy and convenience. We welcome you to experience the hostel lifestyle on Maui, an island that until now has been beyond the budget of most backpackers.

The Hostel provides all your bedding (sheets & pillowcases) and bath towels. The kitchen is equipped with microwave, blender, coffee maker, and all the cooking and eating utensils anyone could need. Light housekeeping is provided daily, and there is free use of the washer and dryer for your towels and bedding laundry. Our Hostel FAQ page should answer any questions you might have.

The Hostel furnishes free wireless internet in each unit; however, at this time, we do not have computers for guests to use, but you are welcome to bring your own. In addition, we will be offering bicycles, skim boards, surfboards, and kayaks available for rent sometime this fall. There is public transporation to and from the airport, as well as to several neighboring towns within 20 miles or so.

You cannot reserve specific units - you can only specify single bed or private bedroom. Which unit you get depends on what is available at the time.
