The Maui Sugar Beach Inn & Adult Hostel is conveniently located 9.5 miles south of Kahului airport (15 minutes drive), on the south coast of Maui. If you would like us to pick you up at the airport, please let us know. The Hostel offers airport pick-up & drop-off transportation for $20 per trip. Or, if you prefer, many car rental companies are located in the airport so you can reserve one in advance and pick it up upon arrival. Other options are Shuttle Buses, taxis, limos, and the new public bus system, the Maui Bus.

Driving Directions from Kahului Airport

Exit the airport onto Dairy Road. Drive about one mile then turn left after the large grey church onto Puunene Ave which turns into Mokulele Hwy (Hwy 311). Follow the highway for 8 miles until just past the intersection with Piilani Hwy then turn left onto South Kihei Road for one mile. When you see the 1 mile marker on the right, turn left onto Wailana Place. Maui Sugar Beach Inn is the last building on the right at 26 Wailana Place.

The Hostel sits across the road from the four mile stretch of beautiful Sugar Beach. Kihei has all of Maui's best features... warm water, blue skies, gorgeous sunsets, and pristine beaches grace this wonderful little beach town. Within blocks of Maui Sugar Beach Inn are fine dining, activity centers, fishing, snorkeling, scuba diving, boat harbors, night life, rental shops, and shopping for every budget.
